In order to encourage readers to read ratings and warnings or avoid the adultfic altogether, please feel free to take one of the buttons or banners below and display it on your fanfic archive. Most writers and archivists agree that it's a good idea to have a warning page on your site, and these banners and buttons are available to help warn those who don't want to read the smutty stuff.
